After days/hours of hard work, I can finally share my progress for LDC. Thank you all for your patience and support!! A few people have reached out to me and have helped me progress at a faster rate. Hopefully, I can release the mod soon once I iron out my to-do list and add animated models.

WHAT IS THE LDC MOD?
Tired after a long journey with no place to stop? Not anymore! Now comes a new mod, The Little Delicacy Cafes!
🌸WHAT IS LDC?🌸
Little Delicacies was created in 2019 on a small discord server dedicated to the Little Maids Mod (LMM). The plan was to make an updated successor of LMM with more fun content. The project slowly evolved and changed as well as its ideas. This project has now evolved to "Little Delicacy Cafes”
In a new Minecraft game, a player may come across Various Cafes during their travels... These Cafes contain merchants that can sell the player items in exchange for sugar coins. Meet many unique merchants, eat delicious food, and more!

INGREDIENTS
For a while, I had tons of ingredients planned in order to make other food items. Taking some items provided by Poi (Fuwuii) I was able to make more ingredient items with different textures.
But not only did I add more ingredients, but recipes for them as well! Most food items should be craftable at this stage of development.
These may change in appearance over time. But much progress has been made! Here is a short list of what new items have been added so far.

CAFE SETS
For the first release of this mod, there will be a total of 5 new Cafes with merchants! Most of these sets will be large so players will have plenty of items to choose from.

CAFE MERCHANTS
Cafes possess a unique Maid or Butler that serves and sells sweets to the player for sugar coins. Sugar coins are a currency used for buying cafe food items. You can find them in the world.

CAFES
The materials and decorations are dependent on the location the cafe will spawn in. Each cafe has its own aesthetic.
There are different kinds of Maid/Butler Merchants that can sell sweets and ingredients to players. These items can be used to craft recipes and are consumable for players.

FOOD-THEMED CAFE’S
These cafes are more common and can be distinguished by their food themes. They sell different foods that pertain to the aesthetic of the cafe. No cafe sells the same items.
MONSTER CAFE’S [COMING SOON]
These cafes will be themed by monster races. Players who have preferences of a certain monster race will have a cafe that reflects that race. Like “fanclubs” these cafe’s reflect the aesthetics of the race.

SUGARCOINS
As mentioned before, Sugarcoins are used to purchase cafe store items. They will play a big role in whether a player can obtain new foods or not. Currently, they can only be found and not crafted. So be sure to save up!
SPECIAL BOOKS
Players can now obtain special readable books!! Book types include:
❥ COOK BOOKS - Cookbooks are rare to come by. And can only be obtained after a cafe owner dies and drops it! Once a player gets their hands on it, they will unlock all recipes from the owner's cafe. Unless they have found out the recipe already.
❥ DIARIES - Diaries are readable books the player can find hidden in a Cafe Owners building. Once obtained, the player can read it and get a shameful achievement.
FINAL NOTES
There have been a lot of changes and new features. I have been trying hard to juggle all of these on my own [for the most part]. It's taken 3 years to get this far and I am very close to releasing version 1 soon! I will try to be more attentive to this project and the website as much as possible. Please note: Since this blog was posted more changes will be made until the finalized version of the mod is released!
With that in mind, here is a gallery of my mod's progress as an extra bonus for making it to the end of this blog!
